1. General provisions
1.1. This personal data processing policy (the “Policy”) has been drawn up in accordance with Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ “On Personal Data” of 27.07.2006 and sets out how personal data is processed and protected by Alexander Petrovich Dubov, a self-employed individual (the “Operator”).
1.2. The name “Dom v Lesu” is used by the Operator for advertising and information purposes; it is not a registered legal entity or trademark and does not change the Operator’s legal status as a self-employed individual.
1.3. This Policy applies to all information resources (including websites, social media accounts and messengers) through which the Operator provides booking and accommodation services.
2. Key terms
2.1. Personal data — any information relating to a directly or indirectly identified or identifiable individual (the data subject).
2.2. Operator — Alexander Petrovich Dubov, a self-employed individual paying the professional income tax, who organises and/or carries out the processing of personal data.
2.3. Processing of personal data — any action (operation) or set of actions performed with personal data, with or without automated means.
3. Purposes of processing
- Handling booking requests and providing accommodation
- Communicating with guests (including confirming bookings, arranging check-in and check-out details, and informing about changes to terms)
- Sending news and promotional materials (only with separate consent)
- Concluding and performing agreements, invoicing and accepting payment
- Complying with the laws of the Russian Federation (including record-keeping and providing information to authorised bodies where required by law)
4. Personal data processed
- Full name
- Contact phone number
- Email address
- Check-in and check-out dates
- Information about the guests (number of people, children’s age group if needed)
- Other information provided by the data subject when booking or checking in
5. Legal grounds for processing
The Operator processes personal data on the basis of:
- the data subject’s consent to the processing of their personal data;
- an agreement between the Operator and the data subject, and actions preceding it (offer, booking);
- requirements of federal laws obliging the Operator to process personal data.
6. Retention periods
6.1. Personal data is processed for the term of the agreement (booking) and for 5 (five) years after it ends, unless the agreement or the law provides otherwise.
6.2. After this period, or once the purposes of processing are achieved, personal data is destroyed or anonymised, unless federal law provides otherwise.
6.3. Personal data processed on the basis of consent is kept until that consent is withdrawn, unless there are other legal grounds to continue processing.
7. Rights of the data subject
- The right to access your personal data (to receive information about its processing)
- The right to have data corrected, blocked or deleted if it is incomplete, outdated, inaccurate or unlawfully obtained
- The right to withdraw consent to processing
- The right to appeal the Operator’s actions or inaction to the authorised body (Roskomnadzor) or in court
